ASTROCAT’S AI USAGE & POLICY

as of Summer 2026

With our rapidly changing technological landscape, we feel it is important to disclose how we are using AI as an organization, including any ways we use AI in our own internal operations and work.

As a consulting firm, creating our own intellectual property and demonstrating our true-human abilities to our clients is critical.  Essentially, we want to show you what we’ve got – pre-AI – any opportunity we can…and where it counts.

For that reason, AstroCat – as of Summer 2026 – is committed to using AI in the following ways, exclusively:  for research and online search, creating graphics to represent data, creating digital design and aesthetic components of our work, and for internal task management and workflow.

We explicitly DO NOT use AI to create, or edit, any written content we produce.  Web copy, blogs, documents, communications, and anything you are reading on our site is 100% human conceptualized, written, and edited.  

Are we anti-AI?  Not at all!  In fact, it would be silly to be anti-AI, considering its implementation and growing use is an inevitable progression in our world.  We think it’s a fantastic tool for writers, especially.  We believe businesses need to implement AI in ways that are applicable to their industry, but with intelligence and sensitivity.  We want to be an example of what we preach.  With writing and proofing, the whole world is aware and amazed by AI’s capacity to quickly clean up any piece, or even compose an entire content piece out of ideas you feed into it.  

Therefore, to truly experience AstroCat’s insights and “voice”, we want you to experience our work in original form.  We want you to have no doubt the ideas we are sharing are 100% from our minds.  You are here for our advice and strategic power, after all.

In music, the original transcription from the composer has a name – it is called urtext.  Original text.  AI can still be employed at any time to spruce up our content and create something different.  And yet, once AI is used for our work, what is ours and AI will blend together, and that authenticity we have championed will no longer be possible to showcase to you in this forum.

So as of Summer, 2026, all content and copy you are reading, or that we create for your business, is human-written and imagined.  If you notice a typo, or two along the way, please consider this context, and we hope the overall intent with our AI usage outweighs any inconvenience.  Plus, if we work together, you can always run our deliverables through AI after, and imagine the possibilities!

In time, this policy will evolve, and we will find ways to intelligently and sensitively add AI to our operations.  But for now, we just have an endless stream of questions for Chat to uncover the mysteries of our universe. 😊
